Meet Joe Panzarella

My name is Joe Panzarella, and I am running for Houston City Council District C.

I’ve spent the past five years organizing alongside my neighbors for safe streets, affordable housing, and to give residents a real voice at City Hall.

I was endorsed by the Houston Chronicle for my “ability to connect the challenges on the ground in District C with the specific policy solutions available at city hall.”

As your Council Member, I will make sure your voice is heard at City Hall. Let’s build a better Houston, together.

Endorsed by the Houston Chronicle

I was endorsed by the Houston Chronicle because of my proven record tackling issues that Houstonians care about like making our streets safer, fighting for transparency at City Hall, and building coalitions with my neighbors to create positive change, together.

I will always defend my community—whether as the co-founder of No Higher No Wider I-10 fighting to prevent a highway from destroying our neighborhoods, protecting Houston’s Black history by reactivating the Freedmen’s Town Super Neighborhood, or co-organizing a protest against the destruction of Montrose’s Rainbow Pride Crosswalk.

As your Houston City Council District C representative, I will continue fighting for our community at City Hall.
